Keep Going — Your “Yes” Is Out There
I receive more no’s than yes’es. A lot more. Of course, on social media I usually only talk about the wins. But I only have those wins because I get so many rejections behind the scenes. I’ve learned that to be successful, you have to fail — a lot, and as often as possible.
For one, you learn and improve just by doing, by staying in the game. But it’s also a numbers thing. I know that, on average, for every so many no’s, I’ll get 1 yes. But that yes will happen. It’s just a matter of getting through enough no’s first. 🙂 ❤
Need a loan? Every bank is different. Need a date? Every man and woman is different. Need a job? Every employer is different. Want to publish a book? Every publisher is different.
They all have different wants, needs, expectations, requirements. And maybe you’re not what they’re looking for right now. But somebody, somewhere, is looking and waiting EXACTLY for someone like you. You’re the PERFECT FIT for them right now.
So don’t feel discouraged. Don’t give up hope. Rejections, no’s, being turned down, passed on, looked over… that’s normal. You’re not what “everybody’s” looking for — no one is. But you are, I promise, a perfect fit for somebody. Don’t stop just because others weren’t the right match. You belong. Someone wants to say yes to you. You just have to keep looking and keep trying until someone does. 🙂
