If you’re watching this, chances are you’ve got the basics down: kindness, patience, love. You try to be a good person — maybe you mess up sometimes, but overall, you’re growing. So then, what next? What does God want from you specifically?
My Personal Journey: Wrestling with the Call
Raised Catholic, I was often asked if God was calling me to be a priest. But my heart craved love, variety, and a life beyond rigid ritual. I prayed for direction, for a clear calling, but the answer was always the same:
“Follow your heart. Do what brings you joy.”
God’s True Desire: Your Authenticity
That answer frustrated me at first. I wanted a clear map, a specific path. But I now believe this is God’s gift: the freedom to choose your own unique path, to explore, to make mistakes, and to find your own way.
God doesn’t want to micromanage you. God wants you to be you — authentically, fully, joyfully.
Why We’re Here: To Experience and Evolve
Our souls are eternal, infinite. Our physical lives are a playground of experience, choice, and growth. We’re here to discover who we want to be through loving and joyful exploration, even if that means detours, mistakes, and course changes.
The Life Review: Learning Without Judgment
When we finish a life, we review it — not to be judged, but to learn empathy, understand impact, and decide how to grow next. God and our guides love us unconditionally, no matter what.
Your Mission? To Be Happily You
So what does God want from you? To be happy. To be fulfilled. To follow your joy and grow in love and light. To express your unique soul in your own beautiful way.
