WHY > WHAT
Message to myself today:
If you want more love and joy in your life, it’s not “what” you do that matters as much as “why” you’re doing it.
The same activity with a different intention or motivation can be a profoundly different experience. One way can be joyful, another way miserable.
Doing an activity with and out of love is a hugely different experience than doing the same activity out of guilt, shame, fear, perfectionism, expectation, or obligation.
The answer isn’t in “what” you do as much as “why” you’re doing it.
The WHY is greater than the WHAT.
